More info

When Deepak lost both his parents in the ravaging earthquake of 2001, he was shaken to the core, reeling under a shattering blow of nature. Unaccompanied and unsupported, he struggles for work, for his very survival. Though the good qualities of head and heart and his penchant for hard work running in his blood stand him in good stead, his misfortunes keep haunting him. Hailing from Kutch - the land of lion-hearted people, he strives for a better life.  Parvati is as interested in life as Deepak. The loss of both her sons is an abyss for her from which, she, it seems, has no chance of making a comeback. It is the end of the world for both Deepak and Parvati; nonetheless, they claw their way again towards the light- namely, a semblance of life.
